Jackson confidently petted each furry critter.

Patrick was a little more reserved, and wouldn't even touch at first.

Then, he decided the goats were nice and soft--and didn't bite!

Jackson was fascinated with the guy feeding the pigs and goats from a bottle.

He managed to stay the recommended distance from the feathered critters, but I could tell he was interested.

Kendra was trying to set a good example for Ashlyn--looks like me with bugs!

Kendra and Ashlyn met Emma, the boys and me at Belleview Park for a playdate. It seems like we always do everything each time we come, but it would be hard to pick just one thing. We began at the petting farm. Jackson was completely at home with the animals, going right up to them to give them a pat. He was thankfully more cautious around the ducks and turkey, who are notoriously peckish. Patrick and Ashlyn were hesitant at first, but Patrick at least ended up enjoying the goats. Next, we bought tickets for the train, but it was hard for some of us to wait in line, watching two groups ride before us! After a fun ride, we pulled out our picnic by the stream. It was hard to get Jackson to eat; he was so eager to get in the water. Thanks Kendra and Emma for a fun day!
