Checking out all the other planes as they landed or took off.
"Anybody (everybody) else dawn (gone)?"

Talk about Elite Access! The pilots showed Jackson the ropes.
Dad had surgery to remove the tumor growing onto his spine at M.D. Anderson in Houston on the first of December. Jason was working in Houston for the next week, so Jackson and I flew out on the 5th to join him and look after Mother and Dad for the next few days. The surgery went well, and although Dad didn't look great the first day we saw him, he improved drastically each day. His recovery has been remarkably quick, but it'll still be a long road when we get him home.
It wasn't the best situation for Jackson; he was mostly either cooped up in a hotel room or a hospital room, but he really was a trooper. An unexpected bonus: he suddenly decided to start using the big potty! Every time he needed to go, he'd say excitedly, "Mommy, I feel weewee toming!" So we'd run to the potty and he'd go! Then he'd say, "Mommy, you so proud of me?" How do you not melt at that!
