I have been an Early Childhood volunteer at the Library for several months, and although I didn't plan much of this event, I was in charge of the art project for the 0-3 crowd. We glued cut out shapes to a pre-cut Christmas tree on construction paper with glue sticks. It was a big hit, and Jackson's and my picture was in the local paper. We had talked up going to see Mrs. Santa all week with Jackson, and he was so excited by the time we got there! He was just laughing and giggling to see her all decked out. It was a successful program, and I hope we can improve on it for next year.
