Father and son with some cool wheels.
Ride 'em cowboy! What Texas museum is complete without cowboy history?
Jackson making shoes like the Western American Indian.

Just before I get to put on hospital shoe covers to enter the Baby/Toddler area (super Nazi at the gate!)

Jackson driving the toddler car. Wheels came off, engine sounds, gas pump--very cool!
We had extra time on Saturday morning before we flew home, so as a reward for Jackson, and some fun for all of us, we went to the Houston Children's Museum. I can see why so many organizations rank it #1. They had a ton of different science exhibits that didn't feel like science at all. A full grocery store, a cow you could 'milk', live chicks in an incubator, race cars, a space ship, climbing equipment, electrical currents to wire. But the best one was the 'bug catcher'. Both Jason and Jackson had a blast with this game. It was a table with a spinning wheel in the center. You had to use plastic shapes hooked together to make a 'catcher', and then toss plastic bugs into a center funnel which spun them out onto the wheel. Then you got to see just how effective your catcher was.
