Jason and I have had a lot of fun tailgating with Nancy and Trey (and various friends), and then going to the LSU football games. It's like a regular date night every week. SO great to get away and spend time together. Mom, Dad, Emma and Noel have been the best babysitters--couldn't have done it without them! Thanks again Mother and Daddy for the AWESOME season tickets!
This week's game was versus Kentucky (on Nancy's birthday). We had a laid-back tailgate, mostly visiting friends' parties, then went in to the game. Never have I seen a game with so many penalties in the first few minutes, and the officials took FOREVER to decide what the flags were actually for. Silly. Made for good conversations, though. After halftime, and after many fans had cleared out, Jason and I went up to join Nancy and Trey at their seats. Since the score soon became 48-0 (LSU), we bailed at the end of the 3rd quarter to miss traffic. Looks like the next really fun game will be versus Ole Miss, because everybody hates Ole Miss. We're planning a big tailgate, so it'll be a good time.
