Jackson's overstuffed basket.
Barb Barlow hosted an Easter egg hunt for our playgroup at her house, on this perfect spring day. It was not too cold or windy, and the sun was shining down from a gorgeous blue sky--it really made me feel like spring was finally here! One of the hardest things about living in Colorado is how late spring comes. I'm used to the azaleas and daffodils in full swing by the first of March, and here, we're lucky to get such days as this without a big dump of snow. March and April are actually our snowiest months! But I digress. The children were beside themselves to start the hunt, and they all had a great time finding all the eggs. Jackson missed the directions to only 'find' a dozen...check out his basket! I tried to share his bounty, but with Easter looming, there were NO takers! It was fun to see all the little boys together, now that they are a little more aware of each other. I can't wait til they are big enough to really play with one another.
