Colias Visit

Sometimes, we are lucky enough to cross paths with the Colias. You'd think, since we are the closest family to one another, that we'd meet up more often, but somehow it's hard to mesh schedules. This time, Nancy, Cliff and Carter were in town for the opening game of the Colorado Rapids' soccer season. I think Beckham was supposed to play, or at least make an appearance. We were invited to go, but it began too late for the boys. The Colias got in late from the game, and then had a leisurely brunch with us before hitting the road. Carter and Jackson had a great time playing Play-Doh and dressing up as warriors. Carter was a really good sport, and of course Jackson had a blast. It was wonderful to see the Colias, and hopefully we can get together more often when the weather improves. It's hard to cross the passes in the snow and with ski traffic!
