Nana helped Jackson and me bake cupcakes for his class Halloween party.
Lorie came over to spend some time with her grandsons the night before Halloween. She arrived when Jackson was napping, and so got a nice, quiet visit with Patrick first. Paddy showed off his pushups and focused attention span. He loves to follow a toy with his eyes, and seems to really focus intently on it. As soon as Jackson awoke, he had to try on his pirate costume for her. He is so excited to wear it; we bought it weeks ago and had to hide it so it would make it to the big day. We are in charge of snacks for Jackson's class this week at preschool, and so far, we've been pretty healthy. But hey, it's Halloween, so we made chocolate cupcakes with white icing, and added pumpkin candy corns to top them off. Come Friday, it's back to baby carrots and celery sticks!
