Poor Jackson! He has outgrown his winter coat from last year, and I haven't even thought about this year's winter wear. We pulled together a hodge-podge so he could go outside: an old coat, my running gloves (all I could find quickly), a mismatched hat, which barely covered his ears, and his rain boots. We will have to remedy this soon, since I think he'll be much more excited about playing in the snow this year. Jason and Jackson dashed in and out--it was freezing!--and made this huge snowman. I could not believe how big the flakes were, nor the fact that it is not even Halloween. I hope this winter is not a repeat of the last one we were so fortunate to miss!
