Yes, my son is ironing. His wife will love me.
"Mama, is this a washin' machine or a dryer?" Both, honey, it's magic.

Where should the dishes go?
There is an annual childrens' clothing and equipment sale at a church near us that is unbelievably huge. It is well-established, and moms sell gently-used (and sometimes new!) clothing, toys, cribs, strollers, nursery decor, you name it, for a fraction of the retail price. The proceeds benefit the preschool based at the church. I know one mom who buys ALL of her 4 children's clothes for the year there. If you volunteer, you are allowed to shop the pre-sale, which is what I've done two years now. It is so worth it, especially if you are in need of something specific.
Jackson is really into 'helping' me, and sometimes, particularly during the witching hour, I just don't have the patience. So I've had my eye open for a kitchen set where he can help without 'helping' too much. I was thrilled to find this one at the sale, and both boys were very excited to see it. Patrick was especially glad he could reach just about everything Jackson could get to.
See the video of Jackson's first look at the new kitchen here.
