Jackson running the ball back uphill per Emma Olsen's directions (their game).
Will and Jackson playing a little soccer.
Scott Thibideaux helped Jackson reel in this fish--Jackson's first!
The kids found baby frogs all around the edge of this pond--see how tiny in Jackson's hand!
Jackson doesn't want to let his froggie go (but it was NOT coming home with us!)
They also found a snake skeleton; I can't believe how fearless Jackson is--and such a BOY!
Ms. Donna Wright was gracious enough to host the annual Grace Church Pentecost Picnic at her beautiful home, Rosedown Plantation. The grounds of this estate are really impressive, with several ponds, majestic oaks, acres of lush grass (who cuts all that?!), and of course, the stately home itself. Mother, Daddy, Will and Emma came and picnicked with the Curry family. There was plenty of food: Mr. Dan Klein's BBQ chicken and Ms. Donna's homemade ice cream were highlights. After a quick nap and change of clothes, we all reconvened at the Newtons pool, where Will was house-sitting. It was great to cool off after the hot afternoon, and fun to see Jackson be so fearless in the water.
