We are all so proud of Emma! It was fun to watch her run, even if it was sweltering hot. Big Joe and Em came out, and we all had a nice visit in the shade of the team tent. Mom made her famous Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies for the team, but shared sweetly with all of us non-runners. Dad, of course, tried coaching along the track until he ran out of voice. It was great to hear him cheering all of us kids on as we lapped the track in our respective years.
