Jackson has been miserable with back-to-back ear infections and bronchitis (5 times in a row!), so his doctor recommended putting tubes in his ears. Here's Jackson at 5:30 am, just prior to his operation. The miniature hospital gowns were a nice, comfy t-shirt fabric and kid-friendly prints. He ended up getting tubes in his ears, an adenoidectomy, and had his sinuses flushed out. I was so nervous about this surgery--it is surgery and general anesthesia, after all--but Jackson came through like a champ. The doctor only took 15 minutes from the time I left his side to when they called us to come be with him in recovery. Amazing. Now we just have to remember to put his earplugs in for each bath or shower, and especially to swim, but Jackson shouldn't have so much respiratory trouble going forward--hooray!
