The doctor recommended I start Patrick on rice cereal in the morning, but with preschool dropoff for Jackson, it was really hard to fit in with his nap schedule. So I waited til just before our suppertime to feed Patrick. I actually did the same thing with Jackson, and it worked really well. Jason made it home in time to see the first real feeding, and to take these pictures. Too hard to manage baby, cereal bowl, spoon, 3-year-old AND camera alone! Jackson really wanted to help me feed Patrick, but I thought we'd better wait until Patrick was a little better at eating off a spoon. Patrick really liked the cereal, once he understood that it was food. He is a champ at eating!
