After being ready to have the baby for more days than I care to remember, at 5:00 AM on Sunday, July 29th, it was finally time to head to the hospital. Jason and I were in the car waiting and timing contractions until Lorie made it over to keep Jackson, who was thankfully still asleep. James Patrick Curry arrived at 11:57 AM, a healthy big boy at 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 21 inches long. Jackson was really excited to meet his new baby brother, and to visit me in the hospital. He was so cute and gentle with Patrick, and it was great to see them together. We had lots of other happy visitors at the hospital, but were glad to get home.
