Bible School Finale

Jackson liked the music, but wasn't too clear on the words.

Video: Bible School finale song

Jackson got a bit separated from his age group during this jump-around song, and found something else to interest him--the projector! Otherwise, he loved dancing to the music and looking for Emma Olsen in the crowd. Pappy and I had a good time watching, although he was a little anxious about the projector.

Bible School was at the Methodist church this year, and we had a great turnout. Emma, Dad and I helped out at several different stations, and Jackson participated. Mostly, I did the arts n' crafts table, and with the 'stations' format this year, it was a little stressful! The kids would swarm in from the last station, usually early, and I would still be cleaning up from the last bunch. Then, we'd do the project, put them in the drying room, and clean kids and table as quickly as possible, because here was the next group!

Jackson seemed to have fun with his age group, as long as he couldn't see me. If we were in the same room, he would leave his class to come be with me. Flattering, but I had a hard time running the arts n' crafts project with him at my elbow! Overall, it was a fun week, and I was glad we were still in town to participate.
